AW… i know it happens, but a baby should have a cash figure attached,,

the lad who is the father AW/…. has seemly been arrested and charged with rape… but this boy will be tried under the juveinile courts… so no doubt it will be a slap on the wrist..

It’s not completely un-heard of though. I can’t speak of your court systems there, but I’d rather see a child in stable home rather than a foster home. It’s not the baby’s fault that her parents conceived him/her too young and the grandmother is an idiot for supporting her daughter. I know a baby shouldn’t have a cash figure attached – but that is the world we live in. Pick lesser of the two evils if you ask me.

I think there is definitely something wrong with our society. I don’t think children know what consequences are anymore. I’m a conservative and was brought up by a single mother and raised catholic. All those years of catholic schooling lead me to think that if I ever did anything bad – I’d have to face my judgment when I died. Maybe this is why I stayed a virgin until I was 19. I’m not at all saying that religion is the answer, but there is something about the old saying “Put the fear of God in them”. That always scared me straight. But, obviously evil does exist – as is the case of the 9 rapist.

I come here because I enjoy the boards more than chatting. I don’t really trust people in the chatrooms now. It only takes one time to get burned and that’s enough for me :lol: . Oh well – This way nobody can say I wasn’t who I was or was who I wasn’t or said this or somebody said that. Gives me a heachache. I also think it’s fun getting to know others from across the pond. I’m a stay at home mom and usually just post here while I have my coffee and toast. But, my son is taking a late nap and my back hurts so – here I am. Too much information?

I miss the ignorance and safety that went along with childhood. I basically didn’t have a care in the world. Ate as much ice cream and pizza that was allowed, played barbies and dress up for hours on Saturday’s, staying up late watching scary movies with my cousins. So much I miss, so little time to describe it all. :roll:
