I’m thinking about how fast things change sometimes. Last week I was talking to my friend about my mom’s cancer and how the doctors say she’s going to be fine, she’ll just need a few rounds of Chemotherapy. I was telling her how incredibly relieved I was. I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared in my life. Then last night she told me how she found her mom on Tuesday night dead on the bathroom floor. We’ve been friends for 17 years and have been thru a lot together. I just feel so awful for her. She lost her dad 17 months ago. Life is really incredible sometimes. Remember your blessings everyone.

I’d have to choose Urge Overkill. Is that the original? I love the guitar in it. But almost anyother time, you know I’d choose Neil Diamond. Maybe it’s the glittery shirts and tight black pants that I like so much.

This is my second attempt at taking this class. If I don’t think I’ll learn from the teacher, I end up dropping the class before it counts against me. But, because it’s a summer course, the teacher has not been announced yet and they are only offering this class once at night (which is the only time I can take it). It’s not really telling myself I can’t do it – it’s just knowing what my limitations are and how I learn best. It depends A LOT on who the teacher will be. If it’s the Chinese guy who I’ve tried taking before, I’ll never make it. He talks about math (very fast and in horrible English) and never uses the board. How the hell are people supposed to learn that way? I’m an extremely visual person – I have to see it to understand it. Am I babbling? I’ll shut up now. :roll:
