J in France I love the french recipe for Clafoutis… Basically a batter pudding filled with fruit especially cherries in summer or any other kind of fruit such as plums or apples etc. Sprinkled with sugar and served with cream it’s delicious !
I am not a dessert eater as I have to keep an eye on sugar intake but there are some lovely desserts available in France, though they still have to learn the difference between creme anglaise and custard.
Cream is very different here as they don’t have the creams like single, double or clotted but it is possible to find some things that are a bit similar and which with a bit of work can be almost the same
But as they say – Vive la difference
I get the red-topped one, and whisk it a bit – makes it more of a double cream! :D
