I think when we get over the initial hurt and remember all the good times and the reason why we loved/liked that person in the first place….our anger mellows…..sometimes even that isn’t enough to mend friendships however….guess that’s the reason we can’t really advice anyone but can only tell of our experiences….every relationship is different

Yeah thanks, think I’ll tell him this if it comes up in convo again – I daren’t mention her. He had a g/f before, but he broke it up (not for this flippin ex tho!) he realised he wasn’t in love with her, and she was with him, so now he knows how she felt – so, I suppose he has learn’t, unfortunately, the lessons’ most of us do :(

thread? Beause for some reason it brought up the question in my head about meeting partners after a break up or a death of a partner….we often read in the papers and mags about celebrities hooking up with someone new so soon after a divorce/split or death of their loved ones….

So…is it ever too soon to meet someone else after the above mentioned circumstances?

I dunno, but my son asked me this, his g/f chucked him 3 weeks before xmas, he said when do you think I will be able to be friends with her, it hurts too much atm – I didn’t know what to say…………..eventually I said, you’ll just know, probably when it doesn’t hurt as much – right thing to say? :?

Boo – all I know is that some IP’s have tried 530 times in the last month!!!! to get into my a/c. Microsoft are dealing with it atm. I presume it is Joker, as he has tried before and practically told me. We shall see. Doubt I’ll find out, I just want to be able to get my email and m s n back!!
