I allowed both my two to have facebook, as all their friends do. A bit like kenty’s eldest, I checked out their settings and I used to (now they both over 18) get an alert if either one of them got an invite which was accepted. Quite relieved now cos they both had well over 200 peeps on! lol I also made sure I had access to their home, just in case.

Personally, I think it is a very dangerous site if you don’t know what you are doing, bit like me at first, I learnt the hard way!

I would like to point out though, about this site. I think the Private Messages tool is good, however, should a minor (who’s parents haven’t blocked adult sites) be in here and get a message from a paedo or wotever, it is undectable, so it is roughly the same as facebook – sorry JC, but it is true!
