I was in Durham yesterday morning – 3 trains cancelled to Newcastle – managed to get there, then two trains cancelled to Kings Cross – so two loads of peeps on one train – thank god I am used to the Northern Line – I just shoved in so I wouldn’t have stand for 5hrs – the train broke down fgs! Then no tube station open – so taxi to home, which cost more than my train fare to friggin Newcastle! Then flight delayed by 3hrs – I give up on British transport – but I am back here now, and at least I didn’t have to spend 6hrs over-night on a train, which I have just read on the news! Small mercies!
