Have you tried a tens machine? They are not too expensive – can get them from any Boots (which will send Thin into appoplexy, I know) – used for labour pains and for peeps with osteoentheritis – worth a go – think they are around £15 – or go to GP and get one free on NHS – it is working for a g/f of mine who has it badly, anyway, hope you find something! x
