When I was younger I preferred male friends, but in my case, they were after only one thing in the long run. Women, however, are much more stable as long-term friends, allbeit only a handful, and they ain’t lezzies! :lol:
However, I do enjoy a banter at the bar with the chaps more than a bitch with the chapesses!
My hubby was my best friend/sole m8 for years before any ‘spark’ happened, but that was me, not him – he always had it, and I knew it!
In a nut-shell, I think we change as we mature, and each and everyone of us is different, being either male or female – it literally is the personalities when the wrinkles set in!

Look, I have 50km to go now, and have eaten 14 of them, I am NOT going to give you the other 20, puke up again, and cycle in 90 degrees UNLESS you promise, faithfully, to give me that darn key – all I want is the wool – not the key to her chastity belt (desperately hoping knitty will see the funny side of this!)!! :lol:
