I agree, however, Shakespeare and Dickens are not on my bookshelf – too much at school! Not into Mills’n’Boon, but love P.D. James – whoedunnits in an oldie worldie way, but very present! I have a friend who knows her – says she sits in cafes and watches peoples, and that is how she gets her characters! Her books are brill.
Going to add to that – not pleasant when she is in at all!

That is what is going on, and the old regs (sorry folks I am not saying YOU are old!), are getting fed up with her – there, I have said it, and, I don’t care if I get banned for doing so, but it is the truth – she picks on someone and just ‘starts’ – if, like Panda says, you ignore her, she will ‘start’ on someone else. It just isn’t pleasant in the lobby in the evenings. :(
All I am going to say is that people shouldn’t be nasty. Yes, I have a wry joke, but it is not meant to offend. I cannot account for some people who seem to go into jc just to have a pop at someone for the sheer hell of it. However, I will reiterate if I see one of whom I class as a friend being attacked, as it were, I will dive in and defend them.
