That s the same guy w h lever was made lord leverhulme in 1917 . The pike on the hill is a 1190 foot summit if anyone fancys a walk up its an amazing view and has names and dates scraped in the stone like old age grafiti from 1800s lol. Been there a few times makes a good walk on sundays b4 dinner then walk down through the gardens to rivington hall built in the 17th century anyway on mi phone here so it only a short one lol will post pics of winter hill from my cycle adventures wen i get on a comp

it is tinks ye but the rest of the area there is nice with the gardens built by lever for his wife is a bit of a story to it the pigeon tower there was built for levers wife for her to sow in called the pigeon tower as she used to collect ornamental pigeons. ive rough camped up there right next to the pigeon tower was great cold and dark but good lol. last time i tried rough camping was at easdale didnt make it to the tarn as to much stuff underestimated the walk lol ime sure i have some pics some were of the trip will have to dig em out. if anyone gets the urge to try the tarn at easedale on a rough camp gi mi a shout ille be up for it and i have most of the equipment needed lol

go for it anc more pics the better hey. best man just looked it up thats north yorkshire ye ?? ne been to it u from yorkshire then we got a nice hill in lancs called winter hill is a cracking walk to the beacon there then back down through lever park gardens past the pigeon tower xhave a googlew for it mate i been up there many times is fantastic. ime hoping to walk easedale tarn soon u shud have look for that too is an amazing place althoug the path up is steep and rough.

lol thanks and lets hope it carrys on with no nastiness hey lol…. o just had summert sooooo tasty lol chop a bannana in food processor add quart of cup of milk and strawbery chocolate and vanilla icecream and mix together in food processor was delicious lol.

4 bream is that it i caught more than that wi mi eyes closed other day half asleep lol 17 in just a few hours all on simple sweetcorn with a betaine ground bait .
