Possibly.
To be fair to Big Iwelumo 999 times out of 1000 he’d have put the ball in the back of the net. If he’d scored then the subsitution works.

It’s the same in the SPL he’ll score against Inverness at home, but his record against bigger teams wont be so good. This is why he isnt played in tough games at home or away in the SPL.
His recent record is scoring just twice in open play for Rangers in more than eight months, two of his three SPL goals this season have been penalties.
Everyone’s acting as if it was a foregone conclusion that if Boyd had been on for the last period we’d have nabbed a goal which is utter bullsh.it

Burley should have played him..certainly for the second half..instead he had him sitting on the bench whilst not one man on the pitch could put a ball in the net.
Even with ten minutes to go..Boyd could have been a potential scorer. Big mistake by Burley..even though the man is sex on legs.He isnt first and foremost a goal scorer. He is ONLY a goalscorer.
There is nothing else to his game apart from that, and since he moved to Ibrox his game apart from the goalscoring hasnt moved on one bit. He cant pass the ball, hold it up, and he cant link play, which the other strikers who came on on Saturday can to a degree at least.
For the majority of games you cant have a dead weight standing waiting for a chance that might not come. Especially with two equally matched sides. Every manager Boyd has had knows this, and that’s why he’s never been a regular pick with any of them.He’s got a cheek. If it was someone with the ability of Dalglish or Law moaning about it they might have a point. Boyd should go away and work on his all round game, and then he might actually have a point if he whines that he’s not playing. Aiden Mc Geady worked hard on his all round game, and is now a far better Footballer for it.

The Manager picks the team he thinks is best. He decided to go with players who are playing most weeks. End of story. Boyd’s a lazy player, and a luxury most Manager’s cant afford when chances at goal will be few and far between.
Walter Smith obviously feels the exact same way, and if I was President of the SFA I’d make sure that Kris Boyd never ever pulled a Scotland shirt on again, no matter who the next Manager is.

BTW yes it did want me to intall something but i didn’t. Then after Avast went thru the comp a black box with something like Win32 came up. I guess there was a battle against good and evil somewhere along the line…
If you had ten Trojan’s on your comp ya gotta get some protection to make sure they dont get there in the 1st place.
