I dont think so. I fancy Spain by a couple of goals.
26 June, 2008 at 11:28 pm #350230Andy Murray was brought up in Dunblane. I would say that’s a pretty normal upbringing.
As for this guy he’s number 600+ in the world for a good reason. He won 1 match at Wimbeldon backed by a home crowd.
Shows how bad British Tennis is that we build these no hopers up to be the next big thing. Sorry to be brutal but it’s the truth. I doubt the Yanks would give this type of coverage if one of their guy’s had that ranking, and won 1 match.26 June, 2008 at 12:33 am #350685I got that done in 1993 long before the modern ones. Thought it would look cool to have long hair. Spent 175 quid getting it down one morning.
My Mum feel about the floor laughing, and my Gran nearly took a Heart Attack. I shaved my head the next day.24 June, 2008 at 11:34 pm #350195I’m not against gay’s, but I can only take outrageous, camp, in your face gays in small doses.
I think there is a difference between “normal” gays and the other ones. John Barrowman for example is gay, but isnt a campy in your face gay. Some campy in your face gays are pains in the ar/ses.
I dont think it’s an anti gay thing. More an anti pain in the ar/se thing.

I noticed the first “Britain” has progressed to the next round.
Her name is Elena Baltacha, born in the Soviet Union. :?
Comes from Edmonton now I think?
I was trying to work out her accent earlier, I thought I heard scottish in there, must be the russian!
Players are travelling from all over the world just to become Britains first tennis winner.
her old man was a Russian international footballer,he played in Scotland
so my ears may not have been playing tricks on me then
I havent heard her voice. Im kinda surprised there’s any trace of a Russian accent left. There isnt In Maria Shagapova’s and she was older when she moved to the US.
24 June, 2008 at 12:38 am #350219Henman was a good player who was pretty unfortunate not to win Wimbeldon.
I think in a few years time Murray could move to another level. Not too many players are comfortable on Grass, but Murray is. I would certainly bet that he’ll win it at some point. If he gets to the Quarters this year whilst gaining momentum I wouldnt bet against him going further.
24 June, 2008 at 12:15 am #350217Murray might not win it this year, though I wouldn’t totally rule it out. He will win it within 5-7 years though. He’s only 21.
24 June, 2008 at 12:08 am #350215She’s been in the UK since she was 6 though.
23 June, 2008 at 7:03 pm #350163You forgot the wee gay Irish boy who won Big Brother. I would have liked Jim Davidson to have given him a damn good kicking.
Also that one from Coronation St who got a Chatshow on the strength of being gay. -
