Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia are large cities – I think about 1 million and 750,000 populations respectively. Only muslims are allowed in these cites – they are closed to other people.
If anyone seriously proposed building a church or synagogue in Mecca, they would be in dead trouble – so why should we allow a mega mosque in Britain?

The added irony is that the cattle might have been infected with a mild form of FMD used in the vaccine, so in effect they might have been vaccinated by the infection rather than by syringe, and might have made a full recovery if theyb weren’t slaughtered?
(Vaccinate comes from Latin ‘vacca’ = a cow. Cowpox virus was used in the experimnets to immunise humans against smallpox – that’s where the term originated.)
Yes, this is a joke. Mars is a bit smaller than earth but quite a lot bigger than the moon. But at 34 million miles away it is 136 times as far away as the moon. So it could not possibly look anything near the size of the moon even using the figures quoted in the hoax.
An object’s apparent size is inversely proportionate to it’s distance from the viewer. If a box is moved from 5 metres away to 10 metres away it will appear half as wide and half as high.
We hear very little mention of deer as a possible means of spreading foot and mouth. All 5 species of deer found in Britain are, apparently, susceptible to the disease and capable of passing it on to livestock.
Well, they have probably committed a crime by being involved in the fire so if they are caught they will probably end up in jail. It’s possible they have left the country though.
I think asylum seekers do at least deserve humane treatment and a chance for their case for coming here to be heard. But I don’t think we should have an open door policy and the situation is complicated by the fact some terrorists came here as assylum seekers. But they were on the run precisely because of their jihadist sympathies, which are portable and can be used wherever they are to incite hatred.
One of the two facilities at Pirbright is indeed thought to be the likely origin of the new foot an mouth outbreak.
If this is the case I think it is at least worth the media investigating whether Pirbright might have been the source of the 2001 outbreak too. I know that first appeared in Essex and was traced to a farm in Northumbria and was of a virus strain common in the Far East, but is it still possible there might have been a trail back to Pirbright?

I have a theory that Yukon is not really an American but one of us Brits or perhaps Irish and on a trolling wind-up trip, posing as an ignorant boondocks deer-shootin’ redneck just to get us all arguing!
Yukon is actually in Canada, not USA! Yukon might really be ‘you con’ in other words someone is conning us and having a laugh. I can think of someone who uses these boards who might have re-invented themself as Yukon.!!!! LOL Clue: Americans don’t talk about running to ‘mummy’ they say ‘mommy’! Or even ‘Marrrmeee’! He did at least remember to spell ‘colour’ wrong. That is the one word that every Brit even if they have low IQ knows that all Americans spell wrong!
I have scrutinised Yukon’s use of English in his postings here it appears to be very much British English as opposed to American English, cleverly disguised by talking about Limeys and also by saying England when they really mean Britain. I thought the current slang used by Americans for Brits was ‘yellowteeth’ which is at lest better than the French slang term for us – ‘les f**k-offs’ !
