So why does a woman like this wear a skirt that just covers her butt. Is it not to attract the attention of men??? And although with 99% of men the thought of actual rape would never enter their heads, the thought of shagging her deffinataly would! Wearing clothes like that is a deliberate attempt to attract the opposite sex and she knows fine well that she will have blokes swarming around her as soon as she leaves the house. Now thats all well and good in the majority of cases but as we all know, this world is full of warped and twisted people. She is attracting them as well and she should burden some of the blame “IF” she was to be taken down some back street and sexually attacked.
Yeah I see your point Fasty, but then we go back to the women on the beach in bikinis. Men always look at women in bikinis and they always will. Are they asking to be dragged down an alleyway and raped because wearing one was bound to attract the attention of a man?

They don’t exactly look happy and we only see them for the odd few minutes on TV. They look like they have been through a terrible ordeal. We shouldn’t assume there are no tears just because we don’t see any.

It could only happen to anyone who was irresponsible and downright stupid enough to do what the Mcanns did drivel. Most of us here, thankfully, wouldn,t dream of doing what they did; which was: ( in case you forgot)
To leave 3 children under the age of 4, in an appartment, in a foreign country so that they could go and have a nice meal without being interupted by the children; with the patio doors left unlocked. Simply put, they put themselves and their pleasure before the saftey and wellbeing of their children. They were uttlerly selfish and negligent beyond beleif. Would you go out for a meal and leave the kids at home?
If this had happened in this country, they would have been arrested for neglience at the very least and had their two remaining children taken away from them.
It simply can,t be put in the same catagory as leaving your kids in bed whilst you sit in the garden in the evening can it. They were grossly negligent and bloody stupid, and the one who has paid the ultimate price for their stupidity and neglience is that little girl. On their return to the UK they should be arrested and have their other 2 children taken into care. Then they should be struck off and never allowed to practise medicine again.@sharongooner wrote:

Good point there Sharon because of course we do read about old ladies being raped as well, so obviously the way a woman is dressed and wether she is young and attractive or not, and what she is wearing doesn,t always come into it, because, as you rightly said, the mind of a rapist is so warped it makes no difference to them either way.
