The decorations will go up soon, *for the children* ;).

In 1977 when I was doing my sociology O level we did a study of a horrific child abuse case – Maria Colwell – I still remember every detail of the case in absolute detail – at 15 I was horrified that this sort of thing could happen in our modern society………………….and here we are 30 years on with seemingly little progress to stop this type of systematic abuse….
It made me sick to my stomach then and it still does now……………. :( :( :(
Do you know LL I don,t remember that case atall? I shall have to look it up. That,s a hell of a subject for a bunch of 15 year olds to have to study for their O levels??!!
Right off to google.

The basis of the application by Baby P’s mother for lifelong anonymity would be Article 2 of the Human Rights Act, the right to life, and Article 8, the right to privacy and family life.
Article 2 she forfieted and Article 8 she had and destroyed, no second chances
Amid the widespread public revulsion at the case, lawyers will use human rights legislation to claim that the 27-year-old’s life is at risk.
They are believed to be already drawing up a list of demands to ensure that she receives permanent ‘protection’ from the public.
It would involve a new home, name and round-the-clock police protection for the woman. In addition, it is likely that her legal team will request a lifelong court order – banning anyone from identifying her or her whereabouts.
I wonder if i could become a judge in the time it takes to release her
I would find in the case of her life is at risk.. good
new home name and protection and the issuing of a lifelong ban .. my findings would be quite simple …. fuck offStuff the courts if i found out where she lived i’d plaster it everywhere
You and me both pete. Look at these pictures of this poor little mites grave. It made me cry I,m not ashamed to say.
When all those people who failed that little boy are eating their Christmas dinner on Christmas day I hope they remember BabyP. Because they did nothing, he won,t be enjoying his Christmas dinner. His little face won,t light up because Santa has been. I hope they all choke on their bloody turkey. They make me sick.
BabyP22 November, 2008 at 9:28 am #386868Guess what?? Her lawyer is demanding that when she is released, which, because of time spent on remand could be as little as 5 years, she,s given a new identity!! He,s bleating on about her human rights. Ermmm sorry when did this evil witch suddenly become human then? I must have missed that. Apparantly the lodger has had razor blades shoved under his cell door with a message telling him to either do it himself, or they,ll do it for him. New indentity, ffs.
