4 February, 2008 at 4:50 pm #302193Now they are searching the lake. I,ve highlighted a few comments made by readers, there are of course many many more.
linkCOMMENTS : The one by AJ of somerset is particularly interesting.
Now correct me if I am wrong, but ages ago there was an article about the possibility of a lake/reservoir being searched in connection with her disappearance? I suspect this could be the same lake? If it is the same lake, the article stated that phone calls had been made from that area on Kate/Gerry’s/Tapas lot’s phones (cannot remember it word for word, but you get the gist). So if this were to be the same lake I read about and the phone call thing were true, then this would surely put McCanns back in frame?

Don’t you all find it utterly unbelievable that while divers are searching for their daughters body the only comment from Gerry McCann is that its ‘utterly fantastic’ news that their ‘suspect’ status could be liftedJust about says it all.
– Gillian Hutchinson, Lymm
Fantastic news. What a strange comment at the possibility that Madeleine’s body might be at the bottom of a lake. I hardly think it is appropriate.– Mary, Manchester
Personally I would be devastated and perhaps need medical help if someone told me they were diving into a reservoir to find my daughter’s body, after a tip off. The last thing I would say is it is a breakthrough and fantastic news!

Were nuts invented when you were young ???
Well of course they were ya great pillock. I was merely saying that I don,t remember many kids getting allergies back then. It seems to me more common nowadays.
3 February, 2008 at 11:23 am #308106Tilly this sounds like a nightmare for you. What CAN your son eat? I presume things like fruit are ok? I confess I don,t know an awful lot about nut allergies, but I do know that nut allergies seem to be very common these days. I don,t remember anyone having such things when I was a kid, it was obviously rarer than it is now.
