Again i can only speak from my experiences. But the only reason they are going into job centres is because if they are not seen as actively seeking work, their benefits stop. However most have no intentions of actually getting the job they just want the benefits so have to show willing.

My mother in law always worked until about 2 years ago when she moved into a council flat. She said why should i work and pay rent on this sh1t hole so she goes to the job centre pretends to look for work etc and sign on. Just because you are seen in a job centre doesnt mean that you are looking for work does it? If you dont look for work your benefits stop!

Actually i do agree i dont sedmuch time on it tbh, my husband rarely touches it but hes the same with all his comps you know big boy toys psp,xbox,ps2 etc hes not so fussed which i am pleased about. It wouldnt bother me if we didnt have it afterall what did we do before the PC? :shock:
