Both my moms nans killed themselves and 2 of her aunties. All many years ago, a lad i knew killed himself at 17 years old!! No one knew why, i went to school with him, he was so popular, had a great car, good home. He to me, seemed to have it all. So i always wondered why?? Killing yourself isnt something you “want to do” its a torture and the only thing you see is right. No one knows what goes on in someone elses head coz if we did we could all make a difference couldnt we? As i have read in this thread quite a few times depression is an illness and needs treating, once you admitt that, there is a start. Most people think they are fine and not depressed…….they are the ones who take their life.
I agree it was wrong but i still always feel sorry for the people who take their own lives. I found out today that the man who took his life is married to my cousins hubbies brother!! Very very sad and i feel for his family x
