This is Butterfly’s fiance, i feel its about time i had my say, and tell you sanctimonious idiots the facts. The point of this whole campaign is not solely about money
The campaign is not based solely on the sun story, if you actually bothered to check all the information you can find on this case you would find that, the yorkshire evening post covered this story and several other papers did too, the mp responsible for the area the ripper haunted at the time, also had concerns about the case, there is also one other factor common to all the articles, im not going to point it out, get off your sanctimonious fat arses and do some proper research instead of just picking out the points that back up your story and ignoring the rest.
I attempted to speak to rory hegarty today in the interests of balance, and i got unavailable for comment, i asked his aide the question, “will you be issuing writs for libel, broadmoor is one of the most high profile secure hospitals in the country, your credibility is being called into question, surely you wish to defend it, as it is totally false”, the answer, “im sorry im going to end this call now, the questions are too confusing”.
The reason we rejected the offers is, I am 36 years old, i have a family, I worked bloody hard to carve out a career, that was taken away by some mindless idiot, none of the qualifications i gained in the ambulance service can be used anymore as they are too old, i have to do access courses before i can get on to a nursing diploma course, once on the nursing diploma course i need to give up work, how many of you out there would leave paid employment to go back to college, when you have amortgage and a family to support, the reason i want more money is, the NHS, vise ve the government, dumped me on my ass once it was clear i couldnt continue as an ambulance paramedic, i am now left with no prospects and no chance of getting employment that pays above minimum wage, i dont deserve to be here when i didnt ask for it
22 January, 2008 at 2:07 pm #303819Have you got nothing better to do. Would major tabloids, radio stations and MP’s put their jobs on the line. I think it’s you who cannot see what is obviously a hoax. None of the so-called press release makes sense. If you look at it properly there are no links to go to, it just looks like a mocked up Word document that anybody with any computer knowledge could do. Let this lie, and let us get on with what we are doing.
22 January, 2008 at 12:42 pm #303816if this story is true then why hasn’t it been sent to the press, and why haven’t the press put a retraction in, they cant afford to state something like that and leave it. That would be libel and it would also be bad for the paper to print something untrue. Also if it was true, wouldn’t they have contacted us via Broadmoor and sent a letter to us with the letter head of the HM Prison. Sit back and think about that because a lot of things dont seem to make sense. Like the words press release are blue as if to link you up to the paper where it was printed, but there is nothing, which seems strange to me.
22 January, 2008 at 10:22 am #303814I have contacted people to ask whether the story is true about him receiving a payout, and all of them say that it is indeed true.
22 January, 2008 at 9:45 am #303813I find it strange Newspeak that you onl chose topost yesterday and only one post regarding th Peter Sutcliffe case, and how did you know about the press release, and who is it being released to, as it is not public knowledge. Do you want me to contact one of the papers that ran our story to confirm it, because that can be done quite easily.
21 January, 2008 at 10:58 pm #303809If the story is false, then why have their been over half a dozen tabloids quoting that he HAS received the amount without using the safety net of allegedly. They are putting their reputation on the line. I have checked this out thoroughly, and there is also a couple of MP’s who have quoted this story and they haven’t said allegedly either. So I think you ought to check your sources better. Are you aware that this payout was made in 2005 and it has taken 3 years to come out, and when the payout was made there was a lot of press surrounding it.
21 January, 2008 at 6:52 pm #303807Plus a CICB reward is not enough when we need to pay off the mortgage and my fiance wants to try and retrain, and we also have a young son to take care of. If this had happened to you, would you just sit on your laurels and do nothing. We are fighters not people who just sit there like little yes men and say yes that’s ok we’ll take this money. can you reveal who told you this story because we have had it checked by several sources.
21 January, 2008 at 6:47 pm #303806Yes we would still have gone to Gordon Bown despite the article about the Ripper, do i take it from your response that you condone what he did to all those women. While my fiance was doing his duty as an ambulance man and has suffered severe scarring, problems with his memory, concentration and balance. He has also lost the job hat was his life. If you think that is OK then that is entirely your opinion, but i have to say that you are in a minority in that vein of thinking.
