Although it’s only the 4th today, my own new year couldn’t have gotten off to a better start. It all started on new years eve, and the future looks decidedly better :D

Oh yea!,,,,,and my flight is all booked for Spain on 30th, off to see my brother for a

I’m so so glad that Alexandra won,,,,she sooooo deserved it :)

I don’t personally think she can be compared to Leona,,she’s so much stronger, she has a passion iv’e not seen in Leona. Her duet last nite with Beyonce reduced me to tears. She’s amazing, she has a wonderful career in front of her doing exactly what she loves best.

The rest of the staff and myself were going to put some decorations in the shop, nothing major, little tree in the window, few lights, that kinda thing.

We mentioned this to our DM, who told us in no un-certain terms, that we weren’t allowed to do this, as it isn’t ”The Thresher Way”!! :roll: :roll:

We decided then,,,,,,to get a few bags of humbugs out the pound shop, were going to string them all together and hang em from the ceiling :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :mrgreen:

I finished pretty much most o mine, got few bits n pieces left to get.

Thing is thou,,,it gets madder by the day now. I left work last night to get as far as the roundabout, which is around 100 yds from where I work, the queue of traffic heading towards Tesco was un-believable!! Was right at that point I changed my mind about going in there. People too,,,,,,,soooooooo bad tempered 8-[ the season of goodwill? yea right :roll: :lol:

I will do the Tesco or Asda run, whichever I can be bothered with, but after last nights fiasco, and almost having both sides of my car rammed in by others less patient, think i’ll do it in the middle of the night, when I can’t sleep, definately sounds like a much better idea to me :lol: :lol: :lol:

Personally I can’t wait till January 30th, thats when my christmas will be, cos i’ll be flying off to Spain to spend a week with my brother, not seen him now in almost a year and I miss him :( So roll on christmas,,,,,,sooner it’s been n gone, sooner i’m away.

Similar I spose, because of my age when I fell for Mike, 40, the consultant and! the clinic sister both tried to bully me into an Amnio Centisis, I refused outright, said I didn’t care if he had two heads, I wasn’t doing anything to harm this pregnancy, waited too long. Got told I was being selfish etc., said i’ll be that then if you like, but I ain’t havin it! don’t want it brough up again! They still tried, couple times, but I c ocked a deafun lol.

He’s 20 now, 21 next year, light of my life :wink:

and apart from lookin like Mr Magoo, Magoo bein a name his dad still calls him lol, he was perfikt!! :D
