I remember taking my son when he was about 10 to the cinema, I think we watched ‘the Borrowers’. (He’s nearly 20 now btw) :lol:

I did go to the pick n mix part of the cinema before we actually went in, I put some sweets into a bag and went to the counter to have them weighed and to pay for them. The assistant said it came to £3 odd!!,,,,,I was pretty gobsmacked at this as we hadn’t bought that many sweets to be honest!! :lol: so was my son, he said leave it, don’t bother and so we didn’t. I left the assistant to put them back. Cinema’s do overcharge, and they shouldn’t be allowed to. Anytime after that when we went to the cinema, we used to go to either a local sweetshop, or to woolworths, and purchase what we wanted before we went in. If more cinemas were made to come into line of local shops then they wouldn’t be able to charge the extortianate prices they do.

As for being a greedy man trying to get a payout. It seems to me he’d just like his child back, because nowhere in that report did I see anything about him expecting any kind of a payout. It said he may well sue them, and so he should, they had no right to use his childs photo, all it does it makes them look innocent, which to the world is how they want to look isn’t it. :evil:
