With articles in the paper today about the government raising the age of criminal responsibility it can only get worse.

As sad as it is that young Rhys died, he won’t be the last.

My heart goes out to his parents,,,each time i see them on the news or in the papers, their grief is clear,,,,,may they both survive this.

I was thinking that too Bat, after having seen it on the news.

Was wondering how 9 years, can possibly be considered life!! Lets not forget of course, the fact too that as soon as this piece of slime walks thru those prison gates he gets a section 43,,,,,segregating him from others why may do him harm :evil: He’s put with others of his kind, no doubt be given his own tv, special menus, access to books, magazines,,,and he’s only got 9 years eh,,,, then he’ll be able to come out and do it all over again.

All we can hope for I spose is that one of the parents/relatives of those he harmed,,,will have a welcoming committee for him at the gate armed with baseball bats, rusty knives and so on and so forth……. I know I would :twisted:

Short answer tho PB, is they don’t care do they,,,,,,till it’s them. Then all hell breaks loose.

They didn’t get the help they needed from social services etc etc., on and on it goes.

Like Sunny said,,,,,theyre are kids out there having kids,,,,,not just one, but several, and often multi coloured. Theyre not brought up, theyre dragged up, told,,,hurry up, get out me f uckin way,,,f uckin lil b astard etc etc etc., this is the kind of language lot of kids hear daily, and grow up with. Then the parent has the audacity to look shocked when her little offspring turns round and tells her to f uck off!!

Every day, including today, there are more stories in the press about prisoners with complaints of the way they have to live in prison, todays it’s Huntleys turn again. He’s decided to end his hunger strike…….If I had my way he wouldn’t get a chance to even GO!! on hunger strike,,,,,,,he’d be force fed! made to slop out his cell,,,,,,instead, he sits there all day, lording it,,,,playing computer games, watching tv, doing whatever the hell he likes, including bumming his gay lover,,,,,,oh he’s so hard done by isn’t he.

There I was thinking being in prison was to be punished for wrongdoing,,,,,,just goes to show how wrong you can be eh :roll:

I make the assumption of course that yer average Liverpudlian parent knows when their under 15 year old child is out on the streets, dressed up to the nines in their hoodies and top of the range trainers.

Of course if they are too drunk or out of it on drugs to know what day it is – much less where their offspring happens to be at 10 o’clock at night, then they cannot be held responsible can they.

Yes we’d better blame the Social Workers or the Government – then we can all go back into our nice safe homes and let somebody else do something about it.

I’m not blaming the social workers,,,,,i’m just saying that the do-gooders, including them I suppose will come out of the woodwork and make all kind of excuses for him.

I do blame the government for taking the powers away from the police,,,,,,,yea theyre putting all these plastic policemen/women on the streets,,,community support officers, makes it look good, more presence,,,,,but they have no powers as such,,,,they’ve no powers of arrest,,,,,most of the ones in the area I live in get constant abuse, and nothing they can do about it……..Get rid of them,,,,,,,untie police from their paperwork, start sending these young thugs to boot camp and give them something to think about!!!
