Whatever her past SHE is responsible for her choices today, many will have gone through far worse and NOT buckled, and many buckle at the slightest hiccup or just through dissolution with their life. Her predicament firstly isnt a guarantee of some horrendously hard life, and even if its a symptom of it SHE is still the only person ultimately responsible for her choices and actions or lack thereof
How come the word judgemental is wheeled out for a disliked statement of fact and observation, but words like empathy and compassion is used the exact same action when its agreed with and arrives at a soft and fluffy conclusion?
In either case its a comment of what is seen and is therefore the same, a society that buys too much into touchy feely victim culture is a weak one that panders to self chosen victim status and encourages it as a result, like always giving in to a noisy child
Screw the women, the child is far more important as far as I’m concerned, she chooses to be how she is, the child had it inflicted upon it as effectively as if she were abusing it in any other way. That point shouldnt be allowed to be clouded by tree hugging victim stroking
She isnt a fit parent and saying anything less will only serve to let that situation continue for longer
my sentiments exactly of course the child is more important than any of them. we will have to agree to disagree on the other points , enjoyed the debate tho :wink: :wink:
of course i dont think murderers and rapists are hard done by, what a stupid statement.
All i am saying is do you know what circumstances this woman has lived in, what is her past??? no!!!! neither do I!!
we are all so quick to judge people and the lack of compassion in certain circumstances is appalling!!!
rapists/murderers/and child abusers are the lowest of the low in our society, and people who abuse children sexually or physically dont deserve a second chance!!!
What I am saying is this woman is very lacking in social skills but what I do find amazingly contradictory is the fact they may appear mentally impaired but they are clever enough to court the media enough to probably make a nice tidy sum of money and that is unforgiveable. this boys welfare and health is whats important and i think that all those well educated social workers who usually have no common sense or real life experience need to get their finger out and look after this child.

well said sunny =D> =D> when will people learn you are what you are. Not so much now cos i have various health problems but when my girls were small i worked 3 jobs (mainly cleaning lol) and still kept my house clean, ran them around to various activities , took em swimming etc.
the thing is yes some of it is lazyness and some of it is apathy. this mother does seem lazy, but there doesnt seem to be anyone to encourage her and get her going. We are all quick to judge people aren’t we?
one of the things that does concern me is, what are this family’s motives, they have chosen to go down the publicity route, court the media…….. hmmmmmmm could it be money orientated and sod the most important person in all this the young boy, who i remind you all is only 8 years old bless him
now that is a question i have often asked ncb, the secret is to remember that this isnt the real world, people come here to be who/what they are not….no one wants real, but that said stay true to yourself and sod em…..I am now, and will always be true to myself.

Again another well reasoned argument. I really don’t see the point of your posts if there is no logic in your argument. As it happens I’m more of a socialist than communist but that probably would not mean much to you.
Give me reasons, sound logical reasons in favour capital punishment not some raving nonesense like this.The most logical reason to hang a murderer – especially a child murderer – is that there aren’t many reoffenders from executed murderers !!!!!
