Nice theory – but his symptoms don’t support it. Typically nausea, vomiting and paralysis occur some 24 hours after ingestion. This guy presented with his symptoms several days after he was ALLEGEDLY poisoned and didn’t include the typical presentation of Fugu poisoning.
In any event, and given the fact that he apparently ate in a Sushi bar, this would have been amongst the first things they would have checked.
How about this for a theory:
He hated Russians (allegedly) and was part of a group that would do anything to discredit them (allegedly). Maybe the entire thing was a set up and he was sacrificed (knowingly or unknowingly) to maximise the bad publicity for the Russians?

hehe :) I been out since flipping 9 am this morning,,shocker for me I tell ye ..had a few things to do.so been LIVING LA VIDA MEDIOCRE.Bur quite proud of todays acheivments really.Even offered to babysit so a nice serene weekend for moi.My riotous larks THIS weekend shall be..
1. clappy clappy handies ( repeated several hundred times)
2.peek a boo behind a pillow.
3.the continual wiping of baby vomit off my chest area.
4. the odd burst of “bonnie wee jeannie macoll”to sooth a frazzled 5 month old.
5.a sigh of sheer bliss when HE decides it bedtime.
6.an emotional feeling of sheer love looking down at a sleeping baby.
7. feet up,,cuppa tea and fruity shortie biscuit,,and a flipping fag knowing he is upstairs,and not breathing my second hand smoke.
8. BED at a good hour,sheer knackered.oh rock n roll queenie :) dont ya just LOVE growing old disgracefully x

do ya know what PB this story has a strange tone to it , I agree with you, not sure what yet but have to be careful what one says now someone has been sued on the net for something they said lol xx
