About Me

An aging hippie from USA, Inc., I love the UK and the people in it.  Almost made it my permanent home.  I love music, the arts, anything unusual or talented obscure.  Age has made me more traditional however lol.  Retired now but was a coroner’s aide after spending decades as a legal assistant.  I come to the UK when I can, visit friends, and always enjoy it all.  My  “corporate” country has many troubles and I lost confidence in my “leaders” since my teens.  I hope however, that good people rise up here and clean out the corruption.  After awhile you just have to leave it to younger minds.   I’m here just to talk to folks from the UK.  It’s a special place for me.

Favourite quotes

“I never do that – someone might repeat it.”  Plato on his view of being quoted for history.

Religious beliefs

I have no religion.  I have spiritual faith in humanity and that there might be something better than just ourselves.  However to me, religion is the most dangerous thing we ever invented.  The first thing it does is separate people who just want to do what humans have always done:  explain that thunder. ;-)

Hobbies and interests

Music, always.  I write prose and music, try to make somemthing of it.  Also studied the human condition and it’s vagaries, foibles, all the inexplicable things we’ve done since we crawled from the muck.  I study the cosmos as well, new exo-planets very much like earth, do research on nebulae and dark matter/energy.
