I agree that it’s more difficult to see new posts – a bit more digging is required than I’d like and I’m hoping to address that when possible.
It shouldn’t feel too squashed though – the main content box is about 730 pixels wide. Probably narrower than the old boards, with that being said though.

I don’t think we need an app – the website as it stands should be fully responsive; ie it should adapt to your screen if you try accessing the site on a mobile device.

This is the most radical transformation this place has undergone. From the old asci chat room software, to parachat. asci was fun though. All that scrolling lol.
Glad this place is still going after all these years. Maybe it can become listed lol.

I agree that this is the biggest change Just Chat has undergone. It was a tall order – hopefully things work out. I am actually planning a blog post to show how Just Chat has changed over the years. I don’t think I have any screenshots of the different types of chat software we’ve used, though.
I think we should be listed as a world heritage website. Start the paperwork, Tinsel!!

I like the look of the new layout on boards, looks sharper/modern and feels safer too (moderated).
Will probably take a while for many to get used to it… but hopefully they will in the end.Thanks for the positive feedback (and the congratulations, too)! My personal opinion is that the overall appearance of Just Chat now looks far more modern and user-friendly. It’s a big change, though. It will take time to get used to!
