18 April, 2006 at 4:57 am #139136Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper I love you
Birds singin’ in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of meSay nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you’ll miss me
While I’m alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of meStars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I’m longin’ to linger till dawn dear
Just saying thisSweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of meStars shining up above you
Night breezes seem to whisper I love you
Birds singin’ in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of meSweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of meYes, dream a little dream of me

screaming in my brain
tearing at my head
burning in my earsthe world keeps turning
making me dizzy
physically sick
emotionally drainedi cant stand it
wont you make it stop
take this pain
and bury it deepi am lost
cant find my way, so
i blindly stumble on
looking for some hope.16 April, 2006 at 12:15 am #208356i tend to stick to authors that i already know, or have been highly reccomended. am a bit of a stick in the mud when it comes to books usually lol, which is part of the reason i thought up this thread, time to spread my literary wings as it were.

31 March, 2006 at 2:02 am #125740this morning i dreamt of walking in woods
dappled sunlight bathed my hair
as a warm breeze caressed my skin
i heard birds singing their sweet chorusi followed a path to a shaded glen
and saw before me a vision of you
dressed in your finery on a rug of gold
with a feast spread before you to tempt the tongueand as we sipped wine we talked of things to come
in this peaceful place anything seemed possible
reality was a lifetime away and yet
these vision faded into a dark fogwhy did i have to return to my meagre existence
wake up dress and sit in contemplation
my heart knows that my dream will never be real
but at least i can remember and sigh. -
