I do find this an “odd” post.
IE is a stander program, it works well and is the default browser for most programs.
A lot of the time you don’t have much choice but to use it.
Firefox is lighter but has fewer users and if you are dealing with main stream sites, its often simpler to use IE.
But Firefox is a “clone” program, anyone who has use something like “word” and then down loaded a free clone program knows what they are like.
If you are new to the web or don’t know much about computers use IE and don’t take any notice of people who always say “Microsoft is crap, there programs are crap, don’t use them, download this….”.
Microsoft have been market leaders for the past 20 years so they must be doing something right.
Unlike smiley ………. who spends his day “writing large essays on forums”
Am I the only one who feels smiley needs to spend less time on the web and more time finding a real life?
31 July, 2008 at 5:01 pm #358347Yes I do know how to do this, its simple.
But I have done my 20 qustions for today, so ask again next week.
29 July, 2008 at 3:23 pm #35791916.9?
What about all the others?
There about 8 of them !!!
29 July, 2008 at 3:14 pm #357916Right the reason you are having so much trouble is this:
Programs are broad cast in differnet formats and screen sizes.
Most good tv’s have a “auto” setting that changes the size screen and pic set’s.
It sounds like you have not turn it on or don’t have this on your tv.
29 July, 2008 at 3:08 pm #357905It looks like your computers are under power.
I know people are running “other programs” at the same time has using this site, you wold be better off closing down anything your not using.
I think with all the “add on’s” you all seem to be using you are lucky its working at all.
26 July, 2008 at 2:11 pm #357146Well I fill it out and didnt find anthing hard about it.
But I go to Brunel and still nursing the hang over.
Unlike caff who just went to the dogs.
26 July, 2008 at 7:33 am #341979AND THEY SAY I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS !!!!!!
121 pages of crap about a prison cell !!!!!
Wot next?
Live febreze sniffing?
25 July, 2008 at 7:14 pm #357054You have to see this sentence for what it is, a warning for the rest of us.
Either your a paedophile or your not.
But how many of us have dream of faking our own deaths, leaving the wife and kids?
We all think it would be easy to start again somewhere new without our “troubles”.
The courts have made it clear, fake your own death and you better stay dead.
Not like John Darwin who foolishly believed he could just walk into a Police station talk this way out of it, drop this wife in the sh1t and get away with it.
23 July, 2008 at 3:25 pm #356848I think if you are under 30 the SKY box is easy to use and understand………….
But if your not……… heaven help you !!!!!
And don’t knock Sky’s costumer service team, I have base my busyness on them.
Sending bills to people you don’t know is OK and most just pay up before the court summons.
I call them “tips” (but keep the amounts low, they are more likely to pay up faster.)
22 July, 2008 at 12:26 am #356710I know it may feel unfair to have 2 systems, (well after looking this up 3).
But you need to understand why, war widows pension are for people who are
injured or disabled through serving in Her Majesty’s (HM) Armed Forces, including The Ulster Defence Regiment, now known as the Royal Irish Regiment, the Home Guard and nursing and auxiliary services;
a civil defence volunteer (CDV) disabled through serving as a CDV;
a civilian disabled as a result of enemy action in the 1939 to 1945 war;
a merchant seaman, a member of the naval auxiliary services or a coastguard, and you were disabled because of an injury you received or a disease suffered because of conditions during a war or because you were a prisoner-of war;
or a member of the Polish Forces under British Command who served in the 1939-1945 war, or in the Polish Resettlement Forces and you were injured or disabled through this service.
Basicly they deal acts of war and are a left over from the birth of the welfare state.
I think if you lose someone now, its hard to deal with the system.
But unfortunately we are all still paying the price for this scheme and has the bill went up over the last 50 years, ways where found to reduce the amount paid to “new widows” who weren’t cover by this program.
Like I did say at the start of this post, once you are on a benefit, its impossible for the government to make changes to it or replace it.
