14 June, 2008 at 11:08 am #347873I have seen this before.
Its sounds like the chip set in the keyboard is failing or out of date.
You don’t need a driver for a keyboard but they do reach a point where they can’t be used on the web.
But its the ones made about 1993-2002 that seem to have this problem.
What I think you need to do is:
Buy a cheap £5 keyboard and try it out on your computer, if you still have the same problem, then its windows and you need to ask again.
13 June, 2008 at 9:21 am #345323You mean Alberto Fujimori, that nice man who oversaw a massive family planning campaign known as Voluntary Surgical Contraception? (Forced sterilisation programme which deprived 363,000 Peruvian women of their right to motherhood.)
The guy who gaves us enacted wide-ranging neoliberal reforms, known as F-u-j-i shock?
The same man who alleged association with death squads?
Is that the kind of person we need here?
13 June, 2008 at 8:58 am #347051The AA is better.
But like all women, they think all break down cover is the same, its not.
What you pay for is what you get.
You spend £35 on this and you get crap service, you spend £100 and you don’t.
I have use the AA a few times over the years, never let me down and always been there in under an hour.
Have the “homestart-relay-stay-mobile” pack, only cost me about £10 per month and pay it by direct debit, if I’m in any car or van that breaks down, they come and fix it and make sure I get home ok.
Remmber break down cover is like everything else, what you pay for is what you get, don’t cut corners on this or you will regrete it.
12 June, 2008 at 11:26 am #34389411 June, 2008 at 11:28 pm #323005Anyone in business who watches the “show” knows there are a lot of people out there who say they can do the job, their “cv” backs them up.
But …………..
When it comes down to doing the actual “job” few justify there “cv”.
I offend find with university gradates like the one’s on this “show”, the only thing they are good at is “pasting the buck” or “back biting”.
I’m not surprise by the people on this “show”, most “go/getters” are the same.
The program shows us all that the 1980’s “greed is good “attitude is still there and the reason for the “credit crunch”, all that matter to young people trying to succeed in business is themselves.
You should all have a long hard think about the candidates on this show and watch them with fear, in a few years people like them will be running your banks, utility companies and government departments.

9 June, 2008 at 4:56 pm #2817837 June, 2008 at 3:51 pm #340610Well what you all seem to forget is there are deferent benefit rules for the under 18’s.
There is a suspicion that all claims for people over 18 are bogus. So that is why they have to wait or go thru endless medicals.
It’s a bit like the old “poor house” system of the 1700’s, if you make something that terrible and cumbersome, only those who have no choice use it or put up with it.
The system has never been fair and never will be, we have too many people asking for benefits and its costing far too much to administer.
The benefit system will be cut back for all soon due to this.
