I think most of you are making a few mistakes here.

Most council tenants I have seen have been in their houses for flats for years.

There nothing wrong with most of them, they’re just sitting there rotting to dead.

I think it’s a mistake apply current housing rules to people who moved in before 1995.

We all need to face the fact that most of us would never dream of living in a council house or flat.

Most of us would never get on the waiting list.

There is a simple reason for council houses being in short supply, most gov’s since 1980 have been pushing home ownership and if you build more council homes there is no reason for people to buy there own homes is there?

My sister is still moaning about me having the words “one size fits all” on my brother in laws willy 15 years ago.

It was his stag night and how was I supposed to know that it would scab over and he couldn’t have sex for a month?

Right I did find the answer to this when I was looking for something else.

And in less than 10 sec’s the cd/dvd drive was working again

    See:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B314060

Then download the “download guided help” and it will fix it for you.

Who would have through it was the “upper filters registry entry” del it would have fix the damn thing.

Only 6 months on that one……….

Right click with the mouse any where on the screen

You should get a menu up

    Look for “properties”

    Hit that

    You now see “display properties”

    Look for “setting”

    Then “screen resolution”

Move the bar down to “800 by 600” pixels and then hit “apply” then OK

    Or

Start-control panel-display-display properties-appearance-font size and set it to EXTRA LARGE FONTS

I think we all take the wrong view on council housing.

When I think back to when I was a child, everyone we knew lived in a council house; I didn’t know anyone at school who parents own there own home.

It was only in the mid 80’s when people started buying their houses.

The old housing estate where I grew up was bulldozed about 10 years ago, the houses where bang up just after the war and where only design to last for 10 years but were still in use until 1996.

I don’t think the shortage of council homes is down to people buying them, its more a case of badly built housing costing too much to repair, being knocked down and not replaced.

There is a case for looking at some of the long term tenants, most would never get a council house theses days, people who moved in back in the 1980’s to be close to family and never moved out or worked again.

I think that is what the new law is for, the long term tenants who moved in with kids and now are living alone in a 3-bedroom house.

There has to be a point where people move out of larger houses to move into flats or houses that meet there needs and not just forgotten about.

Social housing should be there to meet short-term needs, not long term low cost housing.

Most companies are taking “hand free” sets out of their vans and cars.

The main problem with them is that the “bluetooth” systems run the head sets down in about 5 hours.

We have had a problem with trying to find a working system for sometime.

The other problem we have found is that people forget to take off their head sets when they leave the van and bend over and lose them.

I think we have replaced about 50 in the last year.

We have had a problem with trying to find a working system for sometime.

No matter how much we look for a technology answer, right now there seems to be nothing on the market that works and is robust enough to work.

Now the advice is turn off all phones when you get in a van, but if your stuck in traffic for 2 hours, you need to call the customer or office and let them know why you are late.

I know on Monday when I was coming back from Hook, the “hands free kit” packed up on the M25 and my phone was ringing so much, I had to answer it because it was driving me nuts.

I think if you are only on the road for a few hours a day, there no need for anyone to use there phone while driving, but if you are working out of a van and your on the road for 12 hours a day, you have little choice.

Over all I would say most people who have accidents are the ones who don’t stick to the speed limits, which feel 20 miles per hour in a town is too slow and 70 miles per hour on a motorway is a minimal speed.

I wish he would find something better to do with his time than waste his nights in chat rooms and getting drunk.

630am on a Wed morning most people are getting ready for work, not drinking.
