You asked me:

The BT Home Hub is configured for use with BT Total Broadband only.mmmmmm……….
You should have a date when pipex take over your service, and they should have told you in a letter. You should have your pipex user Id and your pipex password.
Use pipex user id and passwords if they have told you that your service has started.
If not your still on bt.
The bt home hub is just like any other wirless router, it needs to be told user id and password before it can connext to the web.
When you use your wirless card on your laptop or home pc, you are just conexting to the router, the password and are keep’t in the routers brian.
If you have uninstall the bt hub, you must find the cd that come with to set up the hub.
You must plug your hub into a phone point and then you must plug your hub into your computer unless you have a Bt hub login icon on your screen where you can make chagens.
Find the password and id page on this screen and just changen them to the new ones.
All you need to is.
Changen the user id and the password on your wirless settings with the new ones from pipex.
Thats it
Ok have you plug in the hub to your computer with a cable?
With your home hub, you got a cd, find it and set it up that or look at
