i did find the answer to this, the speed touch comes with optimzer software pack for above 4mb, which most wireless routers like netgear do not have.

The router runs at 8mb, but without the software pack your computer will not.

Netgear have told me there going to put an upgrade on there web site soon to fix the problem.

Well Cass I am a bit more hardcore and will be taking time in the New Year to become recruiter again.

We are looking for trained skilled staff for more important projects, but the people we need have to be approach in person and not over a web page.

We manage to get 20 volunteers for the Kurdish areas of northern Iraq, but they’re all trade teaching staff from technology colleges.

Give the how Iraq has been for the past year, this project has been delayed until things in prove.

Ooooooooo Geoff you should have know that if the modem is downloading at 8mb and the computer is not, you have a virus/addware problem.

There only one wirless computer using the modem.

And the modem is giving me a 8bm down load rate, but the computer is only giving me a conextion speed of 1.5mb
