The before 1983 is the important part here, the law has changed so that now at least one parent must also be a British citizen, or an EU citizen, but I expect this will be removed in 2 years.

There is no proof that god does not exist, and there is no scientific process in which you could obtain such a proof. So in this sense atheism is not scientific, and relies on faith as much as belief in a god does.
On the other hand, there is not proof that a god exists, and proving that one did would be fairly simple to prove if it had the…[Read more]

Wrong, the UK does not have birthright citzenship. Nor is being born here the only path to citizenship.

I don’t really like Dawkins, so it was mocking him more than anything.
I don’t actually believe in the Big Bang theory, at least as currently know laws of physics describe it. Saying there was no space, and no time isn’t entirely accurate however, it would be better to say that space was infinitely dense, and time moved infinitely slowly. The…[Read more]

I don’t know the exact details, but Martin has moved the site onto a new server. This should make the site work faster, and more reliable.

Nothing, I was talking about my peronal friendships with muslims.
Only just over 50% of them, from the statistics and studies I have read. Although my personal experiences would be closer to 100%.
What do you define as a ‘true’ muslim, someone who followed the Qu’ran and the teachings of the Sunnah literally would be far worse than the…[Read more]

I have had many muslim friends in the past, but they have all ended in hostility over my sexuality.
In regards to being free to criticise Islam, this is not the case in many countries, Australia has blasphemy laws with prevent the criticism of any religion, and Candada is currently in the processes of enacting a bill that makes islamophobia…[Read more]

I’ve posted the Centre for Social Cohesion study before but I will leave one quote from it here for you to read. “Just under a third of Muslim students polled (32%) said killing in the name
of religion can be justified”. Your majority doesn’t seem so vast suddenly. -

It’s not being handeled at all, talking about it isn’t culturally accepted, or even legal in may western countries.
I had pretty much all of F2 turn hostile against me yesterday for critizicisng Islam. Apparently it’s fine that a majority of muslims are homophobic because there are also some christians who are homophobic.
