Just played the above again, first time in about 350 years.
If anyone does play it, click on the cover and maximise it, play it loud, and just look at the pic carefully as the music unfolds like a flower to its heart-aching end.

The beautiful song, Dear Mary, preceded by Song for Our Ancestors, played by the Steve Miller band at their height.
Dear Mary is an exercise in breath control as much as dreamy harmony. I loved singing along to it when I was younger in the early Renaissance. I still love singing along to it.
Song for Our Ancestors is long, but flows naturally…[Read more]

Q, I rarely respond to you, for some obscure reason.
But really..
I am very aware of Ge’s character and mode of address.
I’m not interested in relations with him, but I am very interested in serious isssues, and when he poses serious points, as he has done recently, then I am very interested in answering him or in wiaitn gfor someone else to…[Read more]

Right, badder.
I’ll certainly bear this in mind lol
However, I am interested in serious debate, and Ge made some serious points. This is very rare, and I very much understand how he wouldn’t want me to address those points.
Sorry, Ge, but I will address them soon, just in case anyone is still trying to udnerstand the issue – once this…[Read more]

I thought I was worse than scorpion, according to Ge..
I have no idea whether Badder or Echo or nem or Ge are Scorpion, and I really don’t want to speculate…
but
I wish someone had prepared me for this as I didn’t have my sick-bucket with me and had to clean it off the PC screen.
As far as I am concerned, pms and especially real meets are…[Read more]

badder,
It’s too easy to get into this horseplay.
Ge has actually been making some very serious points about competition and socialism, using The Full Brexit and TUAEU (two Morning Star/Spiked/Institute of Ideas fronts).
Up to now I’ve been faced with his fear of actual debate but now and for the first time maybe he’s laying his cards on the…[Read more]

Badder,
more interesting for me.
how do you respond to Ge’s quoting of the Red-Brown Front on ‘neo-liberalism’ and competion? The Communist Morning Star has been carrying this stuff for several years now.
What do you think of it?

sceptical guy replied to the topic 1939 Revisited in the forum Getting serious 6 years, 5 months ago
No Deal could well happen, though it’s not inevitable. It would be the beginning of brexit crisis, not the end.
The Full Brexit group is one of many little groups (such as the tiny Trade Unionists against the EU he quoted earlier) formed by the Red-Brown front of lexiteers, Morning Star and the creepy Spiked/Institute of Ideas. This is an…[Read more]

Your mind is like a rat’s arse. This is nothing to do with the Panorama programme. I agreed with you that the programme was a disgraceful propaganda exercise.
It’s also not a response to you, hard as it may appear to grasp, but to the post quoted by by Ms M. It was a serious post addressed to a serious peson, and to anyone who may be…[Read more]

If badder asks me to stop commenting on he posts, then let her ask me. It’s not up to you to speak for anyone else.
These are public posts. If badder wants people to stop joining in an arguent, and feels that ehr posts are just for a discussion with you, let her say. But these are public boards, and I’ll still make my…[Read more]

This is a quotation from No Place for Anti-Semitism, the latest Labour Party pamphlet on the need to combat anti-semitism, which singles out the Rothschild accusations.
“The evidence is clear enough. The worst cases of antisemitism in our party have included Holocaust denial, crude Jewish-banker stereotypes, conspiracy theories blaming Israel for…[Read more]

Ge was using the Rothschilds, and it wasn’t to do with buying a lovely gold ring.
It was to do with the Rothschilds controlling the Economist, and his very strong implication that they were acting on behalf of Germany within the EU.
I reread the thread, and honestly, I wasn’t angry, was very clear-headed and cool, and I stand by every word I…[Read more]

Then stop writing such long posts attacking my character.
I stressed over and over again that I was and am certain that you are NOT anti-semitic. Really, there’s no need to repeat that.
But I didn’t say the same about Ge.
I said I don’t think he’s anti-semitic, but I’m not sure. That’s because of his defence of the Nazi who butchered Jo Cox.…[Read more]

You misunderstood them, Ms M.
I’ll re-read them tomorrow and answer if you wish.
You didn’t post anti-semtitic material, but you both wandered into an anti-semitic trope (that’s what it’s called by the Somali-American Congresswoman who apologised for using it).
No shame on you. It wasn’t intentional.

What a bloody fool is ge.
After boring everybody’s bum off by resurrecting old and irrelevant posts claiming that I called him an anti-semite, ignoring the simple post that I denied it, he now thinks he’s found easy meat by taking on the fearless Badder. If anybody at all thinks I am worse, or the same as, or near to Scorpion, then please write a complaint with evidence to Martin.

a post from someone not being personally abusive to cover up their lack of an argument.
*staggered a bit.
You may well be right. There’s a good chance we’ll leave without a deal.
