Agreed about Maria’s stories. They were a copy of coathanger’s style – the works party, the day outing, everyone acting surreally. Her own character was there, though, which made them slightly less Common Room humour (though the first couple of coathanger’s stories were genuinely funny).

A few years ago, a woman by the name of Maria S graced JC chat. She was good, sharp, wrote some of the stories here in competition with coathanger – I liked her a lot.
