At least quote the whole thing rather than dissecting pieces and putting them together…..as for tolerance…. the irony….have you read your essays back ever?
I know, i did that so you would realise how you sound to me. And i’m not really sure what part of my arguments you think are intolerant. I proposed banning muslim immigration to prevent futher escalation of conflicts domestically. I don’t want British muslims to be targeted by hostile groups.
Like I said….you are not English..its fact …seems you’ve taken a little offence….see that’s what happens when you think the same about these muslims you are such an expert on
I am English though. Anyone who would speak to me in person wouldn’t be able to tell that I wasn’t born here.
You and SHR like to put words into my mouth, it is a minority of muslims that I have a problem with. It would be nice if there was a muslim involved in this debate so you could see that I do not have any negative feelings towards them.
You clearly do not respect UK law either, which is why you want to dictate what women can wear. The law is quite clear on this issue. If anyone isn’t integrated into UK society, it isn’t the Muslims you complain about, it is you, an immigrant yourself.
I don’t understand why you keep saying I want to dictate what people wear, I don’t
But it seems you think you should unquestioningly follow every law without ever criticising them, that seems wonderfully totilatarian.
And yes, there are laws that I don’t respect. Drug laws would be one of them, I use weed. Not really sure what that has to do with integration of muslims though.
Why not, you want to deport Muslims who don’t meet your exacting standards and have have said so openly on this thread. Secondly, an immigrant who home schools their children because they don’t “trust” the British education system, clearly rejects our British values and is clearly not an integrated member of our society.
BB also seems to think you can deport British citizens, you’re on the same side as him on this issue.
Regarding education, I was educated in the UK myself from the age of 7. And I want my daughter to enter public education at year 7, my girlfriend wants her to be entirely home schooled. So I don’t know exactly what will happen yet.
You are an immigrant who has not fully integrated into UK society and have said so.
Are you going to deport me then? Lol.
I don’t think I have ever claimed not to be integrated, I think of myself as being either English or British as my primary identity. And I am a naturalised citizen, so I don’t know if calling me an immigrant is accurate or not, i’m legally as British as anyone who was born here.
You claim to be a liberal, yet apparently you want to dictate what women can choose to wear, or not. Practice what you preach.
Again, I never dictated what people are allowed to wear. But banning people from walking into a bank wearing a balaclava (example) wouldn’t be a violation of liberal values so your point is kind of invalid anyway.
This is just a quick point on hijabs, because I don’t think most people understand much about them. They aren’t actually part of Islam, they came from greek culture originally and were adopted by some of the arabic cultures over time. Many eastern european cultures also have head coverings that decend from this tradition.
This one is from Ukraine, as I mentioned the country earlier:
Personally I don’t think you are well integrated into UK society, you have openly stated you home school your children and gave the reasons why. I have no idea why you, who claims to be a liberal, want to dictate what dress women choose to wear in the UK, or not.
Dodging the question them, lol.
I’m not dictating anything, but if you decided to walk around town wearing a balaclava then you might start attracting attention from the police. Don’t you think this is a bit of a double standard?
And I don’t really see what the problem with home schooling my children is, my daughter is far ahead of anything she would have learned in primary school.
