Most Muslims do not accept terrorism. If you stop Muslims from entering the country merely because they are Muslims, you are giving a message that Islam is the enemy, and Muslims in this country and everywhere will see that you are declaring them an enemy.
You are misrepresenting what I said, I said all people from muslim majority countries (Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, ect.) should be restricted, it doesn’t matter if they claim to be muslim, christian or atheist. And this doesn’t affect muslims from non-majority countries (France, India, US, ect). This is very clearly different from what you said.
You are also implying that all muslims put their religion above their nationality. Thist is an extremist view, which itself is an extremist view, one that should not be tolerated. I don’t think a majority of muslims are like this, but I don’t understand why you are making excuses for the ones that do.
Oh and all important government building are protected by pop up bollards that CAN stop a tank.
I’m not sure you’ve seen a tank before, they would just drive over the top of any bollards that are strong enough to stay in place.
Otherwise Downing Street and the White House etc would have been targeted for these sorts of attacks decades ago, similar to Foreign Embassy buildings.

I don’t understand why people are so partizan about where they get news from. There is no unbiased new sources, and you can’t discredit information that is being reported on just because of who is reporting it.
Parts of France are now no go areas for women, cafes espcially, they are full of men. They dont want women there, and if they do go there, they should be with a man….this is France not Saudi!

concrete bollards would not stop a juggernaut nor would stingers though they would slow it down. there are metal bollards designed to stop virtually a tank .they rise up from ground. they already use these around world and can definitely stop a 40 ton loaded lorry at 60mph. true it writes off bollard but vehicle itself is reduced to scrap within 15-20 feet.
Im not sure about that, I immagine that concrete bollards would just fracture at the base with such a forceful impact. You are right that destroying the tires would not stop the lorry, but it would remove the ability for the driver to steer it towards people. Rising bollards have a weakness in that the power to them can be cut if the attack is planned well enough.

This is a misconception that I have addressed a few times on here, it means ‘submission (to God)’, the most charitable translation is ‘peaceful submission (to God)’.

The structure of Islam prevents most muslims from being able to do this, and even the ones that are willing are silenced by the politically correct atmosphere that surrounds the religion here.

No, not really. Being a muslim (with extreme views) is a choice. You can’t choose to stop having blue eyes. There is a very significant difference because of this.

If they take this view, then they are already traitors. If immigration from athiest majority countries (which don’t exist) were restricted for this reason (atheist terrorists do exist, in Turkey). Then I wouldn’t think that I would be viewed as a traitor in my own country.

A heinous crime was recently committed by an American man on holiday in London. He had blue eyes. Stupid, stupid, Ms May for allowing Americans with blue eyes into the country. We shouldn’t be allowing anyone with blue eyes in since we all know they are violent and can’t be trusted.
There are enough people in jail with blue eyes to prove they are a danger to modern society.
You’re conflating a physical characteristic (blue eyes) with a political / religious ideology (Islam). Which only makes sense if you think that Muslims are a race.

I would add the exception of people who commit serious crimes, they should be deported to their country of origin.
Deportation of 1 milli9on refuges/immigrants will make things much, much worse. Where do you send them?
For refugees, international law says we can return them to the last safe country they came from, which would be France.
How do do deal with policing a huge number of people with deep resentment as a result of their relatives being hunted down and deported to possible death?.
I’m going to make an assumption that most of the refugees here don’t have any family here, and most of the ones that do are probably lying about it. Other than that, I don’t know. That’s what propaganda is for, I guess

Ireland is geographically a lot closer to us than ISIS, and they were being detained in their own lands. So the comparison isn’t quite so straight forward.
Don’t you think draconian measures against Muslims and immigrants would have the same effect on violent radical Muslims? The Abu Graib humiliation of prisoners is still being used as an anti-American propaganda tool for the radicals.
I want restrictions on Muslims outside of the country, so British muslims shouldn’t really have anything to care about if they actually are the moderates they claim to be.
The reason that people in the West – soft targets such as civilians, especially women, kids, holiday-makers, Christmas revelers – are being targeted is in order to create hatred towards Muslims in the West. The polarisation which results plays right into the hands of ISIS and al-Quaeda.
I’m well aware of how terrorism works, but we have to take actions to defend ourselves from these attacks.
This is a policing operation. I don’t know whether anyone has noticed the huge number of bollards which have appeared in this country, but apparently they are set up to minimise the possibility of a heavy-duty lorry killing large number of us as we head down to the bingo hall. There will be some horrible things to come, but you have to rely on policing to deal with it.
I really don’t think a couple of concrete bollards is going to stop 10 tonnes of steel travelling at 60+ mph. If you actually wanted to protect against this kind of attack, and they became common enought to justify such measures. I would probably suggest having tire stininging mats accessable in a similar way to floation rings along the paths of rivers.

To clarify, i’m not in favour of deportation. Things aren’t that bad yet. But I think I would probably accept a ban on immigration from Islamic majority countries until a better solution can be found.
These attacks cannot be allowed to continue. People will take it into their own hands, which appears to be what happened in the Zurich shooting yesterday. If things continue as they are now then things will only escalate.
France doesn’t have an open-door policy, but they have the same problem.
Giving refugee status to Pakistan, a nuclear power seems like an obvious mistake to me. Regardless of that, Germany has an open-door policy, and France has open borders with Germany, what do you think the result of that is?
If you play at dropping bombs,invading Iraq, meddling in Syria’s civil war, then expect trouble.

I was making a joke about people who say ‘Pray for Paris’, ‘Pray for Nice’, ‘Pray for Berlin’, ect, and change their profile images to the flags. As if they think it will make the terrorists think twice about attacking.
