What you posted is partially true – depending on what you actually mean by that.
1) If you mean that some of the quotes you find online have not been quoted by the person who they are attributed to (as in your case Abraham Lincoln), I have to agree.
2) If you mean that they are not true as in the real meaning of the word, some are, some are not
3) If you mean something else, please enlighten me
4) If you just wanted to add your tuppence worth, then be it2 & 4

The problem I have with this is that is line of thought that is used by people that give 4 year old children hormone blockers so that they can’t develop behaviours that conform to gender norms.

Well, it was a political murder. But that doesn’t mean the BBC were lying about it.
They lie about pretty much everything else, why should I believe them on this one issue? They don’t even cover actual far ‘right’ activity. I’ve seen a few recordings of few political groups in America quoting Nazi ideology in the last week or two, media has been silent about it.
I just feel like the situation has been made way too political for any evidence that is shown to the public to be trustworthy. I really don’t view the BBC as a reliable source on domestic issues anymore.
Thomas Mair, who has just been sentenced to life, was a man obsessed with white supremacist and Nazi thinking. In his drawers were Nazi memorabilia and white supremacist book and pamphlets like March of the Titans: A History of the White Race . He’d been collecting them since 1984.
I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but I’m not sure how much of that I believe.
