Was only trying to get some thoughtful ideas as you have proved
Personally I don’t agree with you – no one force feeds anyone , exercise is on the whole “free”
If everyone took to drink when they had problems the economy would grind to a halt – but again everyone is different

There was a guy lives in next village to me – depressed – spent a Saturday afternoon in local – on whiskeys etc – decided to drive to his allotment (yes up North we have allotments ) Anyway on his trip he ran over a family on a bike ride – 2 killed 3 seriously injured
Responsibilities / actions / blame ???? !!!!!!!!!!! poor guy was depressed – turned to drink – he’ll not be drinking for a few years yet !!!

I’m not really just hitting at major addictions – I mean anything in all walks of life – we don’t take resposnsibility there’s always got to be a scapegoat
If you trip and fall on the pavement the council gets blamed / sued or whatever – nothing to do with you not looking where you are going

A couple of years ago – I ran into the back of a car on a roundabout – my fault – was obviously too close – but someone 2 or 3 cars ahead had reversed onto the roundabout and caused mayhem
Anyway I was hardly travelling although was in a big 4wd – when i hit the car in front – the guy must have had pound signs going through his thoughts – he staggered out of the car – like he’d been hit in the chest by a snipers bullet , did a sort of breakdance to wards the pavement – then fell over on his back – kicking his legs like a cockroach on speed

Anyway couple of days later got an insurance claim at work from the guy – claiming personal injuries – the usual – whiplash etc
There was nowt the matter with him – he just wanted something over and above the repairs to the car – turns out anyway – he shouldn’t have been driving he wasn’t insured
