I think you will find it was to do with the postal voting system that this has occured. Most of them placed legitimate votes but the counting system (dunno if its computer or manual) fecked it up.
The scots voted alright…. they always do.
There was a computer malfunction (New Labour’s fault), but how hard is it to put a X beside one set of party names, another beside a candidate and write down 1-7 on the other ballot paper?
This education X3 is a farce :D

All they had to do was put a X next to the party of their choice, and on another paper all they had to do was put a 1,2,3 etc for the candidate of their local councillor choice.
It said quite clearly what was required.
So the SNP won the election by one seat? Parliament will decide the first minister, but would the first minister be different with the extra votes?

There are thousands of extremist councillors, 646 extremist MP’s. These people are to blame for allowing the terrorists to attack and threaten us, the 1.69 million unemployed, the hundreds of thousands of illegals roaming our streets, the £2.5 billion we tax payers lose each year vie EU membership.
Half the local election results havn’t come in yet, virtually all the BNP results havn’t come in, so another 740 in England and over 100 results elsewhere.
If only we had good local government counters…
Until we get a fair campaign system, whatever new BNP candidates do, is a success. I see the BNP have won 3 seats, from NEW candidates, 222 votes MORE than a conservative.
MAJOR success.
How is it that with all the hatred against the BNP, with the power of the old gang party’s, a NEW BNP candidate can win?
