The mind is indeed a powerful thing- momentary madness combined with sheer evil took over resulting in this tragedy.

There are two sides to this story but should he have wanted out perhaps killing himself would have been the better course of action.

And I am sorry but the mother will feel every possible guilt for her callous words,actions and behaviour towards her ex husband which led him partially down this abysmal road to destruction.
