The Full Harvest Moon – September This is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but in some years it occurs in October. At the peak of harvest, farmers can work late into the night by the light of this Moon.
In mythology, the Harvest Moon bears the strongest power of all full moons and is said to shine the fullest and brightest.

Dar Williams- Calling The Moon
The moon wanted more of my night
I turned off the engine and the headlights
The trees appeared as they’d never been gone
I promised the fields I’d return from now on
And the moon kept on rising
I had no more to say
I put my roadmaps away
And surrendered the dayAnd I know you’ll be calling me soon
And if I dont answer I’m calling the moon
Calling the moon
I was calling her then
Im wondering will she take me again
Oh, I am calling the moonWhen I called the moon back to me
I thought she wanted my beauty
I shone in the best that vanity buys
I covered the path where my life turned to lies
And the moon kept on rising
But I felt nothing at all
She comes when the empire falls
And shines on crumbling wallsCalling the moon
By the name that she chose
As tennessee wandered in moth-eaten robes
Oh, I am calling the moon
Calling the moon
Oh Im calling the moonOh, make sense of me, night
I can see so much from this cold height
The moon said oh darkness my work is done
Ive poured this bottle of light from the sun
But their anger keeps on rising
And they dont understand
I’ve shown them all that I can
That the world is at handAnd I know theyll be calling me soon
And if I dont answer I’m only the moon
I can see by her light
This ones going out to the moon tonight
Oh, I am calling the moonCalling the moon
cause I know what its worth
To tug at the seas and illumine the earth
Oh, I am calling the moon
Oh, I am calling the moon

You are a Moonchild and pretty soon child
I’ve got that feeling I’m gonna make you smile forever
If I can
Just give me a sign and I’ll show you my planYou are a blue child, forever true child
You know I’ll try to paint the skies blue forever
If I can.
Just give me a sign and I’ll show you my plan.Tell me why you look so sad,
Time slips by like grains of sand
Just put your future in my handsYou are a Moonchild and pretty soon child
I’ve got the feelin I’m gonna make you smile forever.
If I can.
Just give me a sign and I’ll show you my plan,
Just give me a smile and I’ll show you my plan,
Just give me a sign and I’ll show you my plan.15 September, 2008 at 4:01 pm #148634Hunnie..I’d get it off for thruppence old money..ha ha ha..
Would you dive in to save someone from drowning, even though you couldn’t swim yourself?
15 September, 2008 at 3:57 pm #148632I would go to a supermarket and look out for sorry looking pensioners and slip extra goodies into their shopping bags once they were safely past the checkout.
Then I would hare off to various laboratories that torture animals for human profit, and I would release all the poor creatures and either take them home with me, or take them to friends and family.
Then I would steal myself some home made tablet from the local sweetie shop.Would you eat horse-sh/it for a million pounds?
15 September, 2008 at 3:33 pm #148630Yes. When I was a student and lived in a flat, the guy upstairs was deranged and threatened me with an axe. He also threatened to torch the building and actually called out the fire brigade one night, to see how quickly they would respond before the place burned down.
It was him or me, soI did a spell, and he hanged himself. End of.Do you believe in magiKk?
