I sent in my application to join The King’s Division – Yorkshire Regiment.

They wanted to know my weight in KG and height in CM. (I thought I was applying to the BRITISH army, not the FRENCH army??????)

I left it blank, and as you can see from the image above, in the additional info box I put
“I don’t speak French, sorry.”

I’m a bit worried that might void my application. It won’t, will it? They said a recruitment officer will contact me within 5 days. So, surely they’ll just ask me for an explanation then and fill my weight/height in for me when I tell them 6ft & 156lbs.

They won’t just reject the application will they?

I’m in so much debt right now and the army is my last desperate move, as they pay all living costs etc.

If you’re in the army, lemme know if I’ll still be OK as far as my app goes for refusing to use metric.
