The kennel club will just say that it can’t monitor all breeders. But the fact remains that despite some serious health issues amongst many pure breeds, they are still being bred. Isn’t that cruel?

The Chinese will be shocked when they hear what we do to our animals…

I gave £2 to someone collecting for the British Heart Foundation and as per usual, got a sticker that allowed me to walk past all the others. But here’s the thing – some little kid put 10p in and also got a sticker. How’s that fair? I should’ve been given loads of them if that’s the way they’re operating

Are you Scottish by any chance?

FFS Fasty! Pete was only a little lad at the time, i’m sure he wouldn’t keep caged/hutched mice now. Would ya, Pete, huh? Huh?

The point I am trying to make Esme is that as humans we all make our own decisions on how we treat animals depending on our customs and upbringing. Of course there are things happening in the world that we feel strongly against but as sharon has pointed out, there are also people in other countrys who feel just as strongly about some of our very own practices which we find “normal”. The Dutch feel it is disgusting to kill and eat a cuddly little lamb. But hang on a minute… Roast lamb dinner is a part of British life!!! We aint ever gonna alter that just cos those Cloggy bas*tards dont like it [-X Just like the Cloggys aint gonna stop eating horse just the Brits prefer riding them instead.
Methods of killing will always be a point of discussion… but if any of you actually went and visited one of our slaughter houses I think the majority of us would be sick to the stomach watching a cow being murdered… skinned and chopped and diced into mouthsized pieces.
Now Pete is a lover of pork pies….. muslims would puke at the suggestion…. Pete keeps animals in “hutches”… where as the very idea would send some people into a rage. So whos right and whos wrong? We will be putting a ban on cheetahs hunting its prey in the serengeti next
