Don’t talk such utter rubbish Angel. Witey and Gizmo ARE a couple. They are deeply in love and are engaged ffs. The wedding will be in August 2007 – Christ they even announced it on these Boards months ago.

Loads of people have been invited (including me I might add). It will be a really happy and joyous occasion celebrating the deep and lasting love of these two young people.

Its not very often that an American gives an accurate and truthful assesment of world issues but on this occasion you are most certainly correct. Santa Claus “is” a fake. He was invented by you Americans who found the “real” patron Saint of children Saint Nicholas (who most deffinately wasnt a fake) too boring and with not enough razzamatazz to match your zany American lives.

But fake or not… the facts remain the same. If you take Jesus away from Christmas the festivities and giving of presents to children would carry on in much the same manner as it is now. If you remove Santa Claus from the equation then Christmas would just become another boring religous holiday on a par with Easter

Christmas would actually be improved if we all stopped kidding ourselves into thinking we were rejoicing the birth of Jesus and actually admitted we were taking part in a celebration of the patron Saint of children, St. Nicholas….. or Santa Claus as he has affectionally become known.
