I never said he would be a better player if he played for Juve or the scum (whoever they are). I said if he WAS a better player, he would have been signed by a bigger team. I like Gerrard, btw, and think he is a great player (and Liverpool are my English team) – he’s just not, in my opinion, the best player in the World. I think there will be lots of “clueless muppets” like me who could think of someone other than Gerrard who could claim to be the ‘best player in the world’.

Gerrard has had plenty of opportunity to leave for a bigger club, but he is LOYAL to his team and LOYAL to the city he was born and raised in. Something that seems to be lacking in todays modern game.
