A friend of mine swears that peanut butter and philadelphia on a jacket potato is food made in heaven…could she be related to you Neil?
Possibly, but I’ve never tried that! I have found that peanutbutter goes with almost anything!

Post Pub Kill Or Cure
2 slices of white bread
Thick slices of mature cheddar, enough to cover one slice of bread
Veg Oil
ButterPut a larg knob, (stop giggling at the back there), of butter in a frying pan and add a table spoon of veg oil, to stop the butter burning. Once heated, fry one side of each slice of bread.
Once golden, remove from pan and put the cheese on the fried side of one slice and then place the fried side of the other slice on top. Then place back in pan and fry until both sides are golden and the cheese inside has started to melt, remove and eat.Very dirty, greasy, but great drunk food!! Oh, and as you should be very drunk to try this, please make sure you have one sober friend with you to turn off the hob!!
maybe this should be called heartattack on a plate
i can remember cooking up some right unhealthy menus when i came home from the pub in my younger years :DThats how I discovered my fave sandwich… peanutbutter, philedephia and salad cream! Sounds revolting, but give it a try!
