Sending things to the recycle bin in Windows and deleting is OK but with the right software these things can be accessed so if you want to be sure try Eraser 5.8 Freeware !

If you look at the options in Eraser 5.8 you will see Dariks Boot and Nuke is incorporated – load to floppy disk tool (but do be carefull with this DBAN will completly erase data on a HDD, 80 GB takes about 3½ hours with 32 passes from a booted Floppy Drive Disk) Eraser Download Here
