khb no (they are heading in the direction I’ve just come from)

either twin will reply but I can only address the question to one of them and only to ask a single question (I can’t ask one and then the other see)

I suppose you’re both right, points for everyone with the first round on me

One day whilst walking around I lose my way. Eventually I come across a fork in a road, but unfortunately the signpost is broken though I find the two broken arms of the post. One says ‘To Town’ and the other says ‘To The Forest’. As I stand there pondering which route to take to go to town, two twins whom I am aquainted with walk past. I know that they know the local area well and I also know that one of them is a compulsive liar and one always tells the truth and that they also don’t like being asked lots of questions. Given these facts what question should I ask (they’ll only allow me one and only one of them will respond)?

How does my favourite team always stay at the top of the league when they never score any goals, and lots of people have seen the players touching the ball by hand?

on holiday in the Pyrennees, two men are skiing down the mountainside when suddenly an avalanche strikes. One is nearly saved, but the other is nearly buried under the snow. Who is the more grateful?

‘If the Ministry of Health officials had shown a little more understanding, these two people would be alive today. Their action was bureaucracy run riot.’

In support of this allegation, the Reverend ForgetMeNot told the coroner that his curate, who was carrying a vital message to the young husband, had been forcibly detained on the ground that he had been in contact with an infectious disease.

    ‘NOT NICE’
Asked whether he had himself admitted that the letter was ‘not nice’, witness said he might have said something of the sort. He had, he said, been upset by the thought of a living corpse.’ being ‘enclosed in a dead man’s tomb’. The coroner said that was very natural.
The message, had it been delivered, would have done much to prevent a misunderstanding with most unfortunate consequences.
He agreed that he had himself officiated when the couple secretly went through a form of marriage at his house.
Asked ‘Why the secrecy?’ he said that there had been family objections to the marriage. He did not think that intimacy had taken place before the marriage.

    ‘VERY MUCH IN LOVE’
‘But’, he added, ‘they were very much in love. So much that I refused to leave them alone in my study for even a few minutes before performing the ceremony.’

A woman who had been in domestic service with the deceased girl’s parents described them as being of a violent disposition.

right couple of star crossed lovers weren’t they
