Yes from wjhat I can see there is some confusion between MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger. Both initially look the same but the former is a user selected service (chat; e-mail etc etc) and the latter is a component part of Windows networking service.

You cannot disable or delete Windows Messenger as it is a necessary part of the functionality of Windows XP (it runs the network communication services).

BTW if you really did mean ”blanco” then I guess a sort of khaki colour would be appropriate (but only if you poured it on freshly ”blanco’d” webbing).
